Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us:

• Consultation request form: your name, mobile number, email address, the service you need, your project or property location (optional), your preferred way to be contacted, and the message you write.
• Emails, calls and WhatsApp messages you send us directly.
• Basic technical data that our hosting provider records automatically when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, device type and pages requested. This is used for security and keeping the site running.

What we do not do

We do not run advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent your information.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and give you the consultation or quotation you asked for.
• To send you a confirmation that we received your request.
• To keep records of enquiries, and to meet legal, regulatory or professional obligations.
• To protect the website against spam, abuse and security threats.

Your consent

We use the details you submit through the form only because you have given your consent by ticking the consent box. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us (see "Your rights" below).

Who we share it with

We do not share your information with anyone for marketing. It is handled only by:

• ENGINEERS WING partners and staff who need it to deal with your enquiry.
• Service providers that run this website for us, namely our web hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) and our email delivery provider, who process data on our behalf and only to deliver the service.
• Government bodies, courts or regulators, only where the law requires it.

Cookies and third-party content

This website does not set cookies of its own for tracking or analytics.

To display the page we load fonts from Google Fonts and an embedded Google Map in the contact section. These providers can receive your IP address and browser details when they serve those files, and Google may set cookies when the map loads. Their own privacy policies apply to that data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and professional or legal requirements, then delete or anonymise them. If an enquiry becomes an engagement, the records of that engagement are kept as required by law and professional practice.

How we protect it

The website is served over HTTPS. The contact form validates and cleans all input, limits repeated submissions and sends your enquiry to our inbox by email using an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how it is used;
• correct or update inaccurate data;
• erase your data, unless we must keep it by law;
• withdraw your consent at any time; and
• address a grievance about how your data is handled.

Children

This website is meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us their data, please tell us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites, such as Google Maps or WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
